You know the phrase, “When you’re a hammer, everything looks like a nail.”
Well, when you’re a photographer, everything looks like a picture.
Never was this more true than when we finally decided — after three dogs, two kids and 15 years of hard living — to finally resurface our hardwood floors.
“I know,” I said to myself, “Let’s create a time lapse video of the process.”
Surely the folks at Tim Murphy Floor Sanding thought I was spying on them, with my GoPro camera perched high atop the cabinet. But they took it in good stride and made our floors shine. The Flight of the Bumblebee by Rimsky-Korsakov added to the seemingly frenetic pace of shooting for three days and collapsing it down to 45 seconds.
