No Kings 2.0
The weather was beautiful, the people even more so.
No Kings 2.0 in Troy, Michigan was yet another spectacular protest. Nationally too. More than 2,700 individual rallies sprouted up across the country and on foreign soil, including a single, solitary fellah in Tallinn — the capital of Estonia. About seven million people showed up for Saturday’s rallies – including more than 100,000 people in New York, according to CNN.
It was fantastic and EVERYONE happily, peacefully and very humorously protested.
This was my favorite picture from the day. And I had several of her to choose from!
I felt like this was iconic, juxtaposing his mask with his sign.
These ladies were great, “You already took our picture once,” they said. (Glad I did it a second time.)
Younger and older protestors jammed the sidewalks and grass strips along Big Beaver.
A lot of the signs were quite clever.
She didn’t say a word and I was slightly scared of her. But I dug her mask.
If you give a fish a megaphone …
The energy and enthusiasm was wonderful.
It was good to FINALLY meet someone in ANTIFA. I tried to get her to take my resume or sign up for the softball team or AT LEAST let me join in their annual Las Vegas night, but no dice.
The frogs were out in full farce.
However people had to get there, they got there!
And folks sure enjoyed the lovely day.
And finally, my worlds collided as I had a close encounter with a peaceful visitor.
