A HOT Ann Arbor Wedding
Here are a few scenes from likely the HOTTEST wedding I’ve ever shot. Although the wedding day was sweltering, Peter and Melissa were COOL customers!
The bride and maids wanted a snap with their bridal jammies.
Then the bridesmaids earned their keep by fanning Melissa during the official portraits in the non-air conditioned church, built 150 years ago.
Peter readies for the photos.
Peter and his brother playfully lose it during the portraits.
The groom’s brother pretended he was Agent Smith from The Matrix movies.
Melissa pauses ahead of the ceremony.
The historic St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church is the oldest church building in continuous use in Ann Arbor.
They survived the heat with flying “coolers.”
I was asked not to share my awesome shots of the kids who attended, but it’s okay to share their “shots.”
Melissa’s sister and Matron of Honor hug after her beautiful toast.
Peter and Melissa laugh during toasts by their brother and sister.
Peter gets his turn to crack up his brothers.
The heat breaks (a little) as Peter and Melissa take it to the streets.
I suggested everyone who attended the wedding step out onto the front steps for a group portrait. They apparently liked the idea.
I spent a few moments reflecting on the hottest day in a nice-n-cool Zingerman’s reception.
