Here are a few scenes from likely the HOTTEST wedding I’ve ever shot. Although the wedding day was sweltering, Peter and Melissa were COOL customers!
The bride and maids wanted a snap with their bridal jammies.
I was thrilled when my buddypal’s daughter, Brie, asked if I would shoot her fun outdoor wedding to Eric. I’ve been friends with the family for decades and it was such a joy to be part of their celebration. It took place at the couple’s old farmhouse in rural Ypsilanti. Here are just a few of my favorites from a June wedding in Ann Arbor’s cool cousin, Ypsi.

For a professional photographer, having a granddaughter is like a chef discovering an all-new ingredient.
Add a SECOND granddaughter and you get a whole buffet of fun!
I’ve been updating this page every week or two, whenever a new, fun, cute, cool photo or video pops onto my pixels.
My granddaughter jumped onto the chair, raised the blinds and waved bye-bye to Mommy (who’d be back within the hour).
I was honored to be asked to photograph Robyn and Angie’s Ann Arbor wedding at the Stone Chalet Bed and Breakfast Inn and Event Center. They are a fun couple who made the day special with their easy-going attitudes and quick smiles. Of the 1,500+ full-color photos I sent them, these are my favorites, done up in a classic black and white style that matches the couple’s own classic style. Here’s to a great beginning of another chapter in their lives.

I was lucky enough to photograph three great brides and grooms in three fantastic weddings in and around Ann Arbor, Michigan this year. The couples were fun, really enjoyed themselves and allowed me to shoot posed images as well as my passion: candids in a documentary photojournalism style (I am a veteran of The Detroit Free Press, The Detroit News, AP — The Associated Press, and many other news organizations).
